New North Road seems to be littered with an incredible amount of casual dining, bars, cafes, restaurants and the odd treasure shop. The trip to Atomic Coffee was primarily solely for purchasing my mum’s Christmas present: a syphon. From the photos you can tell we were obviously sold on the interior and atmosphere, we had to stay for a quick drink… or a bite or two as well…

I confess I am not a true coffee drinker and cannot tell you how the Cold Brew fared. The pancakes were on the burnt side but nothing that the passionfruit ricotta and pistachio could not save.

Sunny days call for some ice cream too!
